History and legend of the Savoy family is related to this beautiful neo-Gothic period property that stands on the gentle hills of the town of Pieve, a charming Umbrian village on the border with Tuscany. According to the ancient legend, Vittorio Emanuele, the first king of Italy, would use the residence during his hunting trips.
The characteristic building consists of two separate buildings: the oldest is formed by the impressive sixteenth perimeter towers, while the second is a single unit that goes back to the XIX century. It has a total living area of 900 sqm, divided into three floors. An important and accurate renovation has recently affected the structure, conserving and preserving the stylistic features, art and original architecture of the 1800s, such as frescoes of the rooms on the ground floor with its elegant drawing rooms and stately halls. The salons are embellished with frescoed ceilings and antique furniture. On the ground floor we also find a professional kitchen. Access to the upper floors is enhanced by the original staircase in art nouveau style. In total the hotel has 8 suites between the first and second floors, each consisting of a hallway, a bedroom and a bathroom. Some of them have their own private balcony. The property has air conditioning and an LPG system that could be easily connected to the network of natural gas that arrives in the vicinity of the property.
The romantic property is nestled in a lush park of 6,500 square meters, full of trees and precious woods. Inside the park they are still preserved the old greenhouse, gazebo and an old aviary while former limonaia of about 100 square meters is fully renovated, which now features a SPA on two levels, with turkish bath, whirlpool, Finnish sauna, emotional shower with color therapy, massage room and tea room, on the roof they were installed solar panels. Recently built pool of 9.30 x 4 meters.
The pool area also includes a small external Jacuzzi. A favourable geografical location just 15 km from the highway, 40 km from Perugia and 150 km from Rome, and its architectural structure and historical importance it has had over time make it an ideal place for different uses, all of great representation.
